TEENAGER Jake Slight was the star performer for Edinburgh Falcons Cycle Speedway team last night.
The Capital outfit posted win number two in their Northern League campaign when they chalked up an 86-64 success over Stockport at Redbraes Park.

The Falcons were well served by Alan Smith, 15-year-old Slight and skipper Craig Newsome, who each contributed 19 points. Slight could also celebrate his Scotland call-up for the Home International at Great Blakenham next month and the European Nations Cup in Poland in July. Fellow Falcons riders Neil McPherson and Ewan Tulloch are also in the squad.
