Rugby league expands

EDINBURGH'S festival of rugby league on May 2-3 at Murrayfield next year will feature two extra teams after Celtic Crusaders, based in Bridgend, and Salford Reds were today awarded franchises in a Super League competition extended from 12 to 14 teams.
The festival will feature seven matches over two days and it is expected around 70,000 fans will pass through the turnstiles.
