Hart returns to County with improved attitude

RICHIE Hart, who has completed a move from Inverness Caley Thistle back to his boyhood club Ross County, admits he didn't have the right attitude as a youngster.
The 30-year-old midfielder left the Dingwall club to join Highland League side Brora Rangers in 1999 because he wanted first-team football, and, in 2002, he moved to Inverness.
Hart's move to Inverness was a success – he was part of the Bell's Cup and First Division title double-winning side of 2003-04 – but he fell out of favour under Charlie Christie and then Craig Brewster, and he was convicted of possessing drugs last year at the Rock Ness music festival.
Paraded at Victoria Park yesterday, Hart concedes the follies of youth made him walk out on County almost a decade ago.
"When you do well as a teenager and then end up at a club like Ross County, you can be a bit naive," he said. "You are young and believe you should be playing every week.
"I probably never had the right attitude as a youngster. Rather than take a step back and think 'maybe I should work harder' I just tended to take the huff."
