NEW stand-off Andrew Reid was the star of the show on Saturday as Lasswade made it two wins from two in Scottish Hydro Electric National League Division Three.
The men from Midlothian won 54-3 at home against Grangemouth Stags with the visitors struggling to live with the pace of Dave Cockburn's side.

New Zealander Reid scored two tries, while it was fitting that captain Mark Billingham and back-row Gavin Brown were on the score sheet, given their impressive performances.

The comfortable win followed on from a 52-12 victory at Marr on the opening day and they look a good bet for promotion even at this early stage of the season.

Lasswade president Ian Barr said: "We have started well, but we know this Saturday's trip to Ross High will be tough, so the guys need to keep working hard."

The Edinburgh back-up match at Lasswade's Hawthornden ground against Leinster kicks off at 4pm today.

Trinity Accies are unbeaten in Division Three after a 14-12 home win over Helensburgh, but Lismore and Ross High both lost.

In Division One Edinburgh University won 9-0 at Berwick, Murrayfield Wanderers lost to Dumfries, and Preston Lodge are bottom after losing 20-7 to Dalziel.
