WELCOME to Scottish Rugby Update - scotsman.com's weekly guide to all levels of the game.
We'll bring you news from clubs around the country during the course of the season and, courtesy of our partners at Scottish Rugby TV, video coverage of our Game of the Week.

GARNOCK played host to Falkirk this past weekend with the National League Division One title on the line.

Garnock entered the rugby clash in need of a win in order to prevent the visitors from claiming this Division One crown in the Scottish Hydro League. Falkirk and Garnock - one and two in the table - have enjoyed a brilliant campaign, each team losing only once. Only one club - Division Two Howe of Fife with no defeats - could claim a better record this seasoon at this level or above.

Playing on their home pitch in Glengarnock, Ayrshire, Garnock were soon to find out that Falkirk are a commanding presence. The visitors had their sights set on taking the division title home - as the match highlights reveal.

Next weekend, Falkirk are home to Langholm while Garnock were to visit Hillfoots/Alloa.
