CAPITAL golf fans are in for a special treat if they head to Ingliston on Friday for the opening day of the 2008 Scottish Golf Show.
The third staging of the event tees off with a one-off appearance of the Ryder Cup. Organisers are offering visitors to the show the chance to get their photograph taken with the iconic trophy – free of charge. Free lessons from PGA professionals are also available on all three days, while kids can get the chance to take part in golfing activities in the Clubhouse, a new area added for this year's show.

Tickets cost £12 and kids under 16 get in free if accompanied by an adult.
