Jamie McAllister has done very well at Bristol City and have to admit to being very surprised at his current form and has even got the captaincy. Surprised me a lot when I seen him play down here, but fair play to him. Worth a chance.

#3 Suspect it will be Miller and Faddy, Fletcher will have to do with a place on the bench, although his form this season hardly warrants it tbh.

Note the Ibrox mob still in even though they are benched at the moment - Shocking, its holding back the development of Scottish footbal.

Kingkenny

nish would be a good, unselfish addition to attack. He knows when to lay off and when to shoot, yet his workrate can sometimes leave something to be desired and his positional awareness is often poor. Someone needs to explain the offside rule to him...

when oh when kingkenny will you learn the english language? if, as your poor grasp of grammar seem to suggest, you are foreign, how do you know the ins and outs of scottish football yet can't not take a language class or two?

Burley is losing the plot! McAllister was one of the worst players ever at Tynecastle. I assume Burley is feeling the pressure after the poor start to our campaign. Maybe he needs to put more water in his whisky!

Same old rubbish from a Scotland manager. Same mixture of mediocre OF players.

Miller and McFadden will start with Boyd coming off the bench.

What am embarrassment Davie Weir gets picked again and also Kirk Broadhead.............

Not sure what your problem is. Less than half of the players picked in this squad play for Rangers and Celtic. I don't support either of those teams but realise their players tend to have more of a winning mentality and play in Europe, cup finals etc so when both teams are playing a fair few Scots on a weekly basis, it's pretty sensible to base the national team round them.

Your comment makes you out to be a glass-half-empty kind of guy, or even a glass-empty!

I watch Jamie McAllister interview, He is Solid Championship Player.

and Gary Johnson talk Michael McIndoe and Lee Johnson. Burley watch Every Scotland Players..very good.

Ross McCormack performance good. but he decision worst move Cardiff City. If he stay Motherwell..He keep Internatinal place.

bone lazy skiver what winning mentality , dont you watch the auld firm getting humped when they play in europe, hurley burley can pick anyone he likes the facts are simple same oaps going to play ie alexander, weir naysmith etc, thats why we dont have a chance of qualifying for this or any other tournament until we use this qaulifying period to get our young used to playing against better players not the auld firm who always have 12 men if you count their tame ref,

The defence worries me a bit, too many old codgers for my liking.

Surprised Mikey didn't make it into the squad at least but has maybe been put on stand by for a call off or two. Never confident against Norway but it's vital we take the 3 points from them. Berra might get a starting place if his form is good until the game for the JT's with Mcmanus out suspended hope so anyway.

fletcher maybe, but berra? no chance

#8 Not at all.

My reason for mentioning OF players is this

McGregor cant get a game for Rangers but is in the squad

Kirk Broadfoot is a dreadful player

Gary Caldwell like wise (a real liability most of the time)

David Weir a pensioner and like Caldwell a liability. Never been a very good player anyway.

Paul Hartley a very good player

Scott Brown a good player, but lacks experience

Shaun Maloney is absolutey useless. How he is keeping McGeady out of the Celtic team I have no idea.

Kevin Thomson good player but like Brown lacks experience

Barry Robson same as Thomson

Kris Boyd a good player, but too lazy for interantional football

Kenny Miller runs about alot but lacks composure in front of goal.

So my glass is not half empty. I am just realistic that most of the players above would struggle to get into a Championship side in England. Scotland have flattered to deceive in the last 3-4 years and Burley will get found out. Both McLeish and Smith got out when the team were high in the rankings and left Burley to hold the screaming baby.

I'll give you David Weir and Kevin Thomson.

The rest deserve to be there based on previous and recent form, for club and country.

Caldwell in particular has been solid the last few games I've seen him in.

What's going to happen if we qualify? Are these players *really* going to be able to be around long enough to play in the searing South African heat two years from now?

We should be ditching the old boys NOW and blooding in young guns who can carry Scotland for the next 10+ years.

Not persisting with over-the-hill pensioners as a "quick fix" only to be left high and dry when the finals come.
