STEPHEN DOBBIE insists Queen of the South are not going to Hampden Park to make up the numbers.
The Irn-Bru First Division side will compete in their first Scottish Cup final on Saturday against Rangers, who are making their 50th appearance in the showpiece match.

Just making the semi-final was seen as a huge achievement for Queens given they had not done so for more than half a century.

But striker Dobbie revealed they were confident ahead of their 4-3 win over Aberdeen and remain optimistic against Rangers.

"The bottle we showed against Aberdeen in the semi-final was there for everybody to see," he said.

"It's a cup final and anything can happen."
