Hailey proves perfect cure for Scots star

THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD Hailey Henderson donned a doctor's outfit to "treat" Scotland rugby star Rory Lamont when he dropped into a Lothians children's ward.


The winger had been in hospital for an operation on a facial fracture he suffered during his team's famous Calcutta Cup victory over England at Murrayfield.

The operation took place at St John's Hospital in Livingston – a world-renowned centre of excellence for Maxillofacial surgery.

He was discharged on Friday morning sporting an impressive black eye but thankfully with no long-lasting damage.

Lamont, who plays his club rugby at Sale Sharks in England, was forced to miss Saturday's Six Nations defeat against Italy as a result.
