MICHAEL LESLIE, of Bonnyrigg, lost out to Glasgow's Anthony McGill in the final of the Scottish Snooker Under-19 Event 3 by four frames to one at the Locarno Snooker Club in Edinburgh.
McGill won a nervy first frame before settling in the second frame with a 61 break to take a 2-0 lead. Leslie pulled one back with a 43 in the third frame but McGill restored his two-frame cushion with a 51 in the next.

After Leslie missed a tricky black in the fifth, McGill secured the title with a 95 break, and was unfortunate not to make it a century.

McGill, 18, regains his place as No.1 in the under-9 rankings from Leslie. The two players have now contested all three ranking event finals at under-19 level this season.
