DEREK McInnes is ready to end speculation linking him with a move to West Brom by penning a new contract at St Johnstone.
Speculation has grown that the former Hawthorns captain could be lured south to replace Tony Mowbray after topping a fans' poll as Mowbray's favoured successor. But McInnes has told Saints chairman Geoff Brown he sees his future in Perth.

McInnes said: "It is flattering to be linked with jobs but I see my immediate future here with St Johnstone. I am still trying to get one or two players in before we start back at training and I am also trying to get something sorted out with my own future."
