PETER MacDonald preserved St Johnstone's unbeaten home record to maintain their slim hopes of mounting a First Division title challenge.
The striker's late double overcame Stephen Dobbie's brilliant opener, but the game was overshadowed by a sickening head injury sustained by Saints striker Andy Jackson, who rushed to hospital after lengthy on-field treatment.

The visitors took the lead when Dobbie's audacious 25-yard lob from the left touchline squeezed into the top corner.

But MacDonald poked home an equaliser and rounded-off the comeback with a sparkling piece of penalty-box play.

Seems like a real stitch up that the ugly sisters have avoided each other in the semi finals of the cup!

A repeat of what happened in the FA cup would have been great for Scottish football! Another OF final will mean nothing and do nothing for Scottish football!

Anyway good luck all the wee teams with you battle against the evil weggie empire!
