Shimmin shines to interest St Mirren

ST MIRREN manager Gus MacPherson will have talks with former Arsenal central defender Dominic Shimmin today after being impressed with his two displays this week.
The 20-year-old played in the 2-2 draw with Dumbarton and the 3-1 win at Stirling. MacPherson said: "Dominic has shown up well in his two outings – we'll have a chat tomorrow. He is a strong, central defender with a physical presence."
