AYR United continue to lead the way after coming from behind to record a 1-1 draw with Brechin City at Somerset Park yesterday.
Gary Twigg headed the visitors ahead on the half hour before Ryan Stevenson kept Ayr's unbeaten record intact with a long-range strike just before the break.

Peterhead occupied top spot on Saturday night after a 4-0 win over crisis-hit Stra
nraer at Balmoor. On-loan Ross County striker Craig Gunn headed the opener after 16 minutes before defender Callum Macdonald nodded in a second two minutes later. Striker David Ross came off the bench to add a second-half double.

Raith Rovers required a last-minute penalty to salvage a 1-1 draw against Stirling Albion at Stark's Park, but visiting manager Allan Moore was fuming with the award of the spot-kick. Nathan Taggart put the Forthbank side ahead after 15 minutes and Ian Harty blew a chance to seal the points when he hit the post with a penalty five minutes from the end. And they were made to pay in added time when referee Anthony Law adjudged that Lee Bryce was fouled by Ross Forsyth and on-loan Dundee United striker Kevin Smith converted the spot kick.

Alloa saw their disappointing start to the season continue as a Paul McManus hat-trick gave East Fife a 3-0 win at Recreation Park. Two of the striker's goals were penalties.

Arbroath and Queen's Park drew 1-1 at Gayfield. Barry Sellars gave the hosts the lead before Jamie Brough levelled just before the break.
