Chris Paterson was today named for his 150th appearance in Edinburgh Rugby colours when the Celtic League kicks off against Munster at Murrayfield on Friday.
On his return to the team after a season at Gloucester the Scottish cap record holder will line-up on the wing with coach Andy Robinson revealing Paterson is now being considered mainly for a place in the back three and not in the stand off role wher

"We see Chris filling either Nos 11, 14 or 15 but never say never" was Robinson's view of one rugby's most versatile talents.
While heartened by pre-season form Robinson, who has given the tight head prop shirt to Geoff Cross ahead of internationalist Gavin Kerr and called up Craig Hamilton at lock with Matt Mustchin starting on the flank, said there was no doubt where priorities lay.
"We've had two wins over Wasps and Bath but that will be meaningless if we don't take something out of the matches coming up against Munster and Leinster (away)" said Robinson.
Key threat to an Edinburgh side who lost narrowly to reigning Euro champions Munster both home and away last season is All Black Doug Howlett.
"Howlett is the best finisher in world rugby" said Robinson in singling out Munstermen Keith Earls and Rua Tipoki for special mention also.
Robinson also confirmed he would seeking to have the circumstances surrounding injuries to players in last week's friendly at Bath "noted".
Dismissing talk of citings Robinson said: "I'll be speaking to the Bath coach and the (English) RFU to make sure incidents are noted."
