ANDY Murray's mother Judy has announced plans to build a tennis club with its own academy in Scotland.
The site in Stirling will have four indoor hard courts, four red clay courts, four outdoor hard courts and four mini courts.

Judy, who coached both her sons Andy and Jamie and also works with the Lawn Tennis Association on discovering new talent, said: "I want to establish a top-quality coaching environment for Scotland where there is a real shortage of tennis training facilities.

"We will offer our own coaching programme for all ages and abilities. We will try to create a club atmosphere to encourage players to fulfil their potential as well as attract some of the best coaches in the country."

It is hoped the club will open in 2010.
