ANDY Murray has pulled out of this week's Indianapolis Tennis Championships.
The British No.1, back in the world's top 10, at No.9, after reaching the quarter-finals of Wimbledon, has withdrawn in order to rest ahead of a busy schedule.

The 21-year-old Scot said he must take a cautious approach in the build-up to a hectic two months, with the Beijing Olympics followed by the US Open in September.

"I have to make sure I have enough rest days and am not burnt out by the time I get to the US Open," said Murray.

He also said participating in Beijing was one of his main priorities.

"It is an honour to represent your country and I am looking forward to it."
