AUXERRE defender Gabriel Tamas could yet join Celtic after dropping his wage demands, according to his agent.
The Romania internationalist's proposed move to the Scottish champions appeared to fall through last week after the Parkhead club reportedly baulked at the 24-year-old's personal terms.

However, his agent, Florin Manea, insists the deal is still alive and can be finalised as soon as an issue surrounding the £3.5million transfer fee is settled.

Manea said: "I believe that there is still a chance a deal can be sorted out and there is a willingness from Gabriel to sort it out."
