THE Spanish press used an interesting adjective yesterday to describe a Barcelona team that was deliberately under-strength.
They called them "plagado", plagued by reserves, as if the likes of Giovani Dos Santos and Eidur Gudjohnsen are pustulant boils on the glorious pomegranate and blue of the Barcelona corpus.
