INJURED striker Kenny Miller said Faddy and Boydie are the men to keep Scotland's World Cup hopes alive.
Miller, who has withdrawn from the squad due to an hamstring injury, said Kris Boyd and James McFadden are the perfect pairing up front.

He said: "What Faddy has achieved shows how dangerous he is at this level. His record is outstanding.

"Then
you consider what Boydie has managed and you have to say it's nothing short of staggering. He's only played 15 games for Scotland and he's racked up seven goals already."

However, Mixu hopes the spell away will imbue him with confidence.

He said: "I must be honest, every time I started with Benji I was disappointed with his workrate. He got frustrated and we found a solution by Benji going to Belgium on loan. But hopefully he comes back and shows that real Benji that we know because he is a tremendous striker."

The last Scottish Cup competition to bear the Tennants name was last year's Celtic V Dunfermline final.

The deal with the currently unnamed sponsor is expected to total £3 million and will be in place in time for the second round ties on October 25.

FLOODING at Silverstone derailed McLaren's hopes to give Lewis Hamilton's new test driver a spin yesterday.

He said: "It's frustrating. Obviously it's not ideal but we can't control the weather."
