Bowls: Kelsey lifts Glasgow title at just 19

MARK Kelsey from Rutherglen became, at 19, the youngest winner of the Glasgow Singles title when he beat Camphill's Gordon Hannah 21-9 in the final at Kingswood yesterday.
Victoria Park celebrated a double title success when they claimed the under-25 junior singles, through Kevin Bain, and the fours title.

Shawlands won the senior fours title for the third successive year, while Mearns took the pairs title 18-9 against Strathclyde Police and Barr & Stroud beat Fairfield 18-12 to lift the triples title.
