THE finals of the Edinburgh Primary Schools' Sports Association's Inspector Cup will be held at Warriston Playing Fields on Tuesday, May 27, starting at 6.30pm. Eight schools will take part in two groups, with the winners and runners-up in each group contesting the semi-finals and then the two winners will go on to play the final.
GORGIE Hearts youth club will be playing under the Redhall Star banner next season and their home games will be played in their new base at Hailes Quarry Park in Wester Hailes. Bobby Collins and Chris McArthur, the two young coaches of this team, have been honoured at the Scottish Parliament with awards from Community Scotland for their valuable work in promoting sport in west Edinburgh.

THE under-16 Evening News Trophy will have its final on Wednesday, May 28. Hutchison Vale await the winner between Leith Athletic and Tynecastle from this coming Tuesday's semi-final.

LEITH Athletic were beaten 3-1 after extra time in their Scottish Amateur Cup semi-final against Eddlewood at Falkirk Stadium.
